Callum Crawford: NE Blackwolves at Box on Thursday 1:30-3:00pm

Tomorrow, July 12, Callum Crawford, a New England black Wolves player, will be at our Ludlowe box scrimmage to run our team through some specific box skills/drills and instruction during our weekly scrimmage.

This is a great opportunity to learn from a professional indoor player and gain some insight into the NLL world.

To accomocate this event, we are moving tomorrow's Box session to 1:30-3:00pm at the Sportsplex.

All Ludlowe players are encouraged to attend, whether you are registered for Summer box lax or not.

Gratitude

Thank you all for the efforts made yesterday in our first annual West Point Outing.  It was an amazing day of food, lacrosse and camaraderie -- and the weather only served as an appropriate backdrop to a perfectly executed event by P.A.L.S.

As we reflected on the bus ride home, our lacrosse season is merely a journey of life.  Where there are 10-7 losses to Cheshire as bumps in the road, there are also amazing bonds of fellowship strengthened by those very bumps.  As that Army team sang their traditional song at the end of their bitter loss to their rivals on senior day, it should renew in all of us the commitment to what we have built together.

Overall, the one word that came to mind was GRATITUDE.  I am grateful for the efforts, sacrifices and never-say-die mentality that the players demonstrated on the field yesterday.  Thank you all for diligently executing the three things that we asked in the gameplan on Friday:  middie defense, control of the dodge from X and our Gold clear.  On behalf of all the coaches and players, we are extremely grateful to the parents for hosting all the great events that we have and for supporting us in our ups and downs.

With appreciation,

Coach Parisi

AD SALES & TEAM PROGRAM

To ALL FLHS Boys Lacrosse Players and Parents,

The 2018 season is only a month away and we want to start our team fundraising initiative. This initiative is the sales of ad space within our 3rd Annual Team Program. The program features local ads for businesses and merchants sold by the lacrosse players and parents and is distributed at all our home games. This fundraising initiative is our primary means of funding and is the lifeline to fuel our upcoming season.

We have given every effort to begin this initiative early this year so that parents and players can capitalize on the extra time.

Our goal this year is to have our 2018 Team Program completed and read for distribution at our scrimmage against Fairfield Prep on March 31st.
